Issues to consider when choosing epoxy resin potting glue
1. The requirements of the product for the performance of the potting glue, such as: operating temperature, hot and cold alternation, internal stress of components, outdoor or indoor use, stress conditions, whether environmental protection, flame retardancy and thermal conductivity are required, color requirements, etc.
2. The potting process used in the product: manual or automatic potting, room temperature or heating curing, the time required for gluing after mixing, the gel solidification time, the complete curing time, etc.
Detailed steps for using epoxy resin potting glue
Step 1: Before operation, clean the oil, dust, water and other debris on the surface of the bonded object and keep the surface of the bonded substrate dry and clean.
Step 2: Because the epoxy resin potting glue needs to be mixed, we first check whether the A glue meets the requirements and whether there is any sediment before mixing, and stir the A glue thoroughly. If it is not stirred evenly, it will easily cause some places to solidify while others have not.
Step 3: There are instructions for the proportion of epoxy resin potting glue on the packaging, so we need to take the amount according to the proportion. Please remember that the proportion is weight ratio rather than volume ratio. After mixing A and B agents, they need to be fully stirred to avoid incomplete curing.
Step 4: After checking that the mixture is evenly mixed, the glue should be poured in time before curing, and the potting glue that has been mixed evenly should be used up within the use time. Remember not to save the opened potting glue for the next use, which will greatly affect the use effect of the potting glue.
Step 5: The gaps in the product must be filled during potting, so if they are not filled, then we need to perform secondary potting.
Step 6: During the curing process, clean the curing environment and keep the operating environment clean. Do not let dust, oil, etc. fall into the glue.
